1. Overview

Project Launchpad ("Scholastica Codex") is a free, open-source educational platform that distributes curricular resources including textbooks, study guides, quizzes, flashcards, mind maps, slide decks, and video content. This privacy policy describes what data is collected, how it is used, and your rights.

2. Information We Collect

We do not collect personal information. This site is a static website hosted on GitHub Pages. We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, analytics services, or advertising networks. There are no user accounts, logins, or registration forms.

If you interact with embedded Google Forms quizzes, your responses are governed by Google's Privacy Policy. Quiz responses are anonymous unless you voluntarily provide identifying information.

3. YouTube API Services

This project uses the YouTube Data API v3 to upload and organize educational video content on our YouTube channel. By using this service, we adhere to the YouTube API Services Terms of Service.

Our use of the YouTube API is limited to:

We do not access, store, or process any YouTube user data. We do not scrape YouTube content. We do not provide tools for downloading YouTube videos. Our OAuth2 credentials are used solely to authenticate our own channel for uploading our own content.

We do not retain any user data. OAuth2 tokens used for YouTube API access are stored locally on the developer's machine and are never transmitted to third parties, stored on servers, or included in the open-source repository.

6. Children's Privacy

While our educational content is designed for students of various ages, this website does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Our YouTube videos are marked as "not made for kids" under COPPA because the educational level targets high school and above.

The source code for this distribution platform is publicly available on GitHub:

All curricular products (textbooks, study guides, quizzes, flashcards, videos) are distributed for free under CC BY-SA 4.0.

8. Revoking Access

If you have authorized our application via Google OAuth2 and wish to revoke access, you can do so at any time through your Google Account Permissions page.
