  2. Duke Vincentio
  3. 2107 These letters at fit time deliver me.
  4. [Giving letters.]

  6. 2108 The provost knows our purpose and our plot.
  7. 2109 The matter being afoot, keep your instruction
  8. 2110 And hold you ever to our special drift;
  9. 2111 Though sometimes you do blench from this to that
  10. 2112 As cause doth minister. Go, call at Flavius' house,
  11. 2113 And tell him where I stay: give the like notice
  12. 2114 To Valentinus, Rowland, and to Crassus,
  13. 2115 And bid them bring the trumpets to the gate;
  14. 2116 But send me Flavius first.
  15. Friar Peter
  16. 2117 It shall be speeded well.
  17. [Exit FRIAR.]
  18. [Enter VARRIUS.]
  19. Duke Vincentio
  20. 2118 I thank thee, Varrius; thou hast made good haste:
  21. 2119 Come, we will walk. There's other of our friends
  22. 2120 Will greet us here anon, my gentle Varrius.
  23. [Exeunt.]
